We stayed at Bumblebee Manor in May and now have a new bar set for vacations. The grounds are beautiful. The main garden is very relaxing and I enjoyed hanging out there reading my book. The pool was lovely on the warmer days. We stayed in Lavender and it was perfect for us. It had a separate driveway and its own yard with a patio set. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The activities we did helped make this trip so special. I can’t recommend the wine tour with Martin and Sue enough. Two days were spent touring castles. We also had one of the best culinary experiences of our lives. Sue prepared a 7 course French dinner with wine pairings. The food was not only delicious, but also presented exquisitely. And the best part was enjoying it with Sue and Martin. This vacation was the perfect balance of relaxation, exploration and indulgence. I would highly recommend staying here and taking in all the experiences they have to offer. We definitely plan to return.

Sue and Martin are perfect hosts, offering a warm welcome, beautiful gites, a morning delivery of freshly baked bread & croissants, free use of bikes, extensive gardens with a bbq and a heated swimming pool.
We visited beautiful lesser-known chateaux, biked along the Loire and found small and more famous vineyards throughout the area.
We thoroughly recommend Bumblebee Manor.
